[bugfix] fix double firing bun.DB query hooks (#2124)

* improve bun.DB wrapping readability + comments, fix double-firing query hooks

* fix incorrect code comment placement

* fix linter issues

* Update internal/db/basic.go

* do as the linter commmands ...
